Iain Black

Hello ,

The last two days I've spent campaigning have been the most exciting yet.  Yesterday several volunteers and I, including a few special guests from Victoria, hit the ground running door knocking in Port Moody and Anmore until about 8:30pm.  We had amazing response at the door - clearly PoMo and Anmore want to Keep BC Strong!!  Today I've enjoyed my time engaging Port Moody constituents on the phone and at the door.

TOMORROW'S EVENTS AND HOW YOU CAN HELP

Tomorrow - Friday April 24th there will be a rally of support at BC Liberal candidate Harry Bloy's campaign office, located at #209-3430 Brighton Avenue in Burnaby (off Lougheed Highway just above Costco).  For anyone who attended Dennis Marsden's rally last week this will be quite similar.  I need to know who will be attending so I can bring the appropriate amount of signs, buttons, etc.  PLEASE RSVP to our Campaign Office at (778) 355-1401 if you can attend.  If you don't have a ride, someone can drive you!

Also, there are two shifts I need help with tomorrow:

Door Knocking from 1:30pm to 3:30pm and 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

UPCOMING EVENTS AND HOW YOU CAN HELP

There are many exciting things happening over the weekend!  This Saturday there is a 9am meeting for Area Managers only in the Campaign Office, followed by the General Campaign Meeting at 9:30am (everyone is encouraged to attend).  In addition to door knocking and phoning, there is also a Sign Blitz from 12pm-5pm.  Never blitzed before?  It's fun!  Plan to come and give it a try.

This Sunday there is a Campaign Office Open House from 1pm-3pm (#9-3130 St. John's Street, Port Moody).  This will be a great opportunity to show off our beautiful office, meet fellow supporters and speak with me and the team.  Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Thank you for all your support,

Iain Black
