TODAY ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL

Hello ,
 
It's hard to believe that in only two weeks voters will be heading to the polls in one of the most important elections in a generation.  I've had an amazing time working with you so far, and I know we're going to succeed on May 12th! 

It's another beautiful day in the riding and I've enjoyed spending the morning speaking at a realtor's office, and mainstreeting at a senior's centre and in Suter Brook/Newport Village with my team of volunteers.  At 4pm we're going to burmashave at the corner of Como Lake and Clarke for an hour or two, so if you have some free time, please join us! 
 
TOMORROW'S EVENTS AND HOW YOU CAN HELP
 
More is always better!  We have a job for everyone, including door knocking, phoning and data entry.  We're now at the key period for volunteering so any amount of time you can give is appreciated.  Call the Campaign Office - (778) 355-1401 - to sign up for shifts!

UPCOMING EVENTS AND HOW YOU CAN HELP
 
This Thursday, April 30th there is another All Candidates Debate.  This one is sponsored by the Burquitlam Community Association.  I will be attending, and it's imperative we have a solid feeling of support in the room. The debate is from 7pm - 9pm in the Banting Middle School gym, located at 820 Banting Avenue in Coquitlam.  If you can, please be there by 6:30pm!  

Also, don't forget this Saturday, May 2nd we are embarking on a "Super Saturday" flyer drop.  We'll head out at 11am and stop when we've distributed all the flyers.  (If you can't be there at 11am, please let us know and we'll schedule you for an afternoon team! Just call the Campaign Office)  If possible, please plan for about two hours of time, as that's how long it takes to complete a poll. 

This will be a great test-drive for E-Day volunteer support, so we need as many folks as we can get!  (As a reminder, the goal is 120 people ...and I know we can do it.)  Bring your friends and families, it's free exercise!
