<p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Note the change in timing! For 2010 we have decided to move from our usual “last Wednesday in February” date in order to avoid conflicting with the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, which are scheduled for late February and early March of 2010. This way, we will ensure we can get as much participation and media focus as possible.<br />

<p><span style="font-family: Arial;">So, mark your calendars and save the date: Pink Shirt Day is <strong>Wednesday, April 14, 2010</strong>!<br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Our call to make a statement against bullying by wearing pink met an overwhelming response in 2008 and 2009 – from schools, unions, nonprofit groups, businesses, and politicians. <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pinkshirtday">Our Facebook group</a> and <a href="http://www.pinkshirtday.ca/">website</a> garnered support from thousands of people in BC, Canada, and around the world. Premier Campbell and many Mayors issued official orders proclaiming it anti-bullying day.<br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial;">We hope everyone who was involved last year will join us again. We also hope that the list of participants will continue to grow!<br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial;">We want to personally invite you and your school to take part in this crucial anti-bullying day by encouraging your students and staff to wear pink on April 14th.<br />
</span></p>
